This is my first blog entry for Rush Sports, its been quite a while in the making but there has been no better time than now to get this blog going: Rush Sports will be as of the 1^st September moving into a new home, I will as of the 1^st of September be moving into a new home [more on that later] and I will be off to Germany for Eurobike. The horizon is bright, the day is new!

So we are moving Rush Sports into a new stage, kicking down and gear and pressing hard on the accelerator, and this is the first step in that direction. Rush Sports will have a new home come the 1^st September, right across the road from the Morewood factory in Pietermaritzburg with great access to all of the local mountain bike trails and what I would like to think of as industry leading storage and warehouse design and layout. After all, we import some of the best products available, we need the workshop, warehouse and office space to do these products justice, and offer the necessary level of support that such high profile brands need.

This moving process has been… well quite a process! There have been many logistical issues which have needed to be addressed and tackled, many items bought: office furniture, new racking and shelving, new computer hardware, flooring, wall coverings, the list goes on. Still not sure how much we are going to get done by the first week of September, but I have no doubt that with the support of everyone we will get all of the necessary items in place so that we can have as smooth a changeover as possible.

I have set some pretty ambitious goals for the new season, but I think with the effort that we are all going to put into this exercise they will be easily reachable.
