For those of you who don’t know, Dave Weagle is one of the top bicycle suspension designers in the industry. Having developed the “DW link” suspension as used used on Ironhorse, Ibis, Independent Fabrications and Pivot with huge success both at the races and in the press he followed its success by launching the “Split-Pivot” system, a high performance, low[er] cost suspension design with similar performance to the DW link but the abilitiy to produce it at a far lower cost.

Despite fighting HUGE litigation battles defending and protecting his designs and intellectual property against some of the biggest names in the bike industry, Dave is back again pushing hard with a new suspension design, this time used on his own brand; Evil bikes. The DELTA system as seen on the Evil revolt has been the talk of the gravity mountainbike market since its rumored design debut in September 2008. Many Dave Weagle and DW fans have been waiting with bated breath as little by little the Evil crew have leaket out snippetts of information.
